Loibl is participating in the construction of a new Energy Centre in Essex (U.K)
The new centre includes an Integrated Waste Management Facility (IWMF) that aims to significantly reduce the volume of mixed municipal waste and recover useful resources.
The centre includes an Integrated Waste Management Facility (IWMF) able to significantly reduce the volume of mixed municipal waste and recover useful resources. The waste is recycled for energy during incineration. To be put in place in 2026, this is expected to incinerate around 595,000 tonnes of waste per year, which will provide energy for around 600,000 households.
Loibl Förderanlagen GmbH is an ESWET’s Associate Member and will supply several troughed belt conveyors to transport the accruing slag. This technology will contribute to ensure improved recycling and maximum recovery of energy and valuable materials from waste.
