The Berlin Conference on Waste Management and Energy is the largest trade event at the interface of waste treatment and energy in the German-speaking world.

On the one hand, current and future-related topics of the circular economy and related energy industry issues will be addressed in the plenary session from a political, legal and economic point of view.

On the other hand, the technical sessions focus on the technology of waste incineration, including the downstream processes up to CO₂separation and use, as well as on the exchange of operational experience.

The BKAWE has established itself as an annual meeting of the industry and enables an intensive exchange with opinion leaders, experts and decision-makers over two days.
