In the Indian Ocean, a cooperation between Paprec and LAB
Two ESWET members are joining forces on a new project in the Réunion Island, in the Indian Ocean.
Paprec and LAB will work together for the first time on a large waste recovery hub in Pierrefonds, near St. Pierre – the facility is located in the island’s south and managed by the public entity ILEVA.
Paprec has led the creation of the large Pierrefonds waste recovery hub, which was inaugurated in December 2024. LAB will now supply the facility’s flue gas treatment system that will eventually process 148,000 tonnes of solid recovered fuel (SRF) per year.
