ANDRITZ will enhance Waste-to-Energy capacity in France.
ANDRITZ takes the lead in France's renewable energy future at Villers-Saint-Paul Waste-to-Energy centre.
ANDRITZ will supply a third waste treatment line to a leading Waste-to-Energy centre in Villers-Saint-Paul, France. This major contract with Idex, a top energy services company in France, is poised to significantly boost the centre’s renewable energy production capabilities.
What’s in store:
- Engineering and manufacturing of a vertical boiler with a grate combustion system.
- Assembly of the complete boiler equipment on-site.
- Expert commissioning and trial-run operation.
The Impact:
With all three lines combined, the Villers centre is gearing up to treat nearly 260,000 tons of waste each year, delivering renewable energy to approximately 13,500 households.
This project marks another successful collaboration between ANDRITZ and Idex, following their previous partnership on a biomass power plant. We applaud ANDRITZ for their commitment to driving positive change and making an impact in the WtE sector.
