The British company Earls Gate Energy Centre Ltd. awarded MARTIN’s French partner CNIM the contract to build the turnkey Earls Gate plant. The plant will be jointly built by CNIM and the British construction company Clugston Construction in the Scottish town of Grangemouth, and is expected to come online in 2021.

MARTIN will supply a reverse-acting grate Vario with 4 runs and a width of 10.480 m. The gross heat release will be 75 MW with a throughput of up to 34.2 t/h. The plant will be used to supply the Earls Gate Park industrial site with electricity, district heat and steam.
