Ramboll, welcome to ESWET

30.04.2026

ESWET continues to grow with the addition of a new member, Ramboll. The company brings decades of engineering know‑how and a strong track record in delivering complex Waste‑to‑Energy (WtE) projects worldwide.

Founded in Denmark in 1945, Ramboll now operates across 35 countries.

Waste as a fuel presents unique technical challenges that require specialised solutions and deep expertise. Ramboll has consistently been at the forefront of addressing these challenges, combining technical, contractual and operational knowledge to help clients make sound investment decisions.

A WtE facility is a major, long‑term investment. Ramboll supports clients from the earliest stages by conducting technical and economic feasibility assessments, ensuring projects are grounded in realistic expectations and strong business cases. The company’s in‑depth understanding of WtE’s role in integrated resource management allows it to develop projects aligned with environmental and economic objectives.

Throughout the project lifecycle, Ramboll offers a full range of services, including technical advisory, owner’s engineering, and Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM). The company’s familiarity with technology suppliers and key processes enables it to anticipate risks, optimise design choices, and secure value for money through high‑quality contracting strategies.

Beyond construction, Ramboll continues to support plant owners and operators with asset management and operational advisory services.

Health, safety and risk management are central to Ramboll’s approach. By combining scientific expertise with practical engineering solutions, the company delivers projects that prioritise human health and environmental protection.
